WIG 2021 Valentine Project

Reaching in and reaching out - connecting the hearts!
Hurrah! Over 300 Valentines and 7 bags of goodies were created, packaged and delivered to chase away mid-winter blues. 131 Valentines were delivered to Villagia in the Glebe and added to Valentine gift bags for the residents. Valentines were mailed to people on George’s list. Lots of Valentines for women and children plus 7 bags of goodies went to Interval House. Over 120 Valentines were delivered to Minwaashin Lodge, Cornerstone and the Elizabeth Fry Society. Reports have come in from women who were pleased to receive the Valentines, and others who had fun making them.
Due to the weather, the service tomorrow (Feb 16) is cancelled.
