Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole will lead the service. Pam Fitch will welcome us, and Marsha Hay Snyder will offer the land acknowledgement. Rev. Sue Toller will give the Theme Conversation for children and adults. Donna-Fay Mailhot will read the scripture: Luke 13: 6-9. Our Minister of Music, James Caswell and the choir will lead us in music and song; the anthem will be "Thou Knowest, Lord" by Henry Purcell.
Today, we will reflect on the importance of seizing our "second chances" to make meaningful changes in our lives. Jesus reminds us that life is fragile, and rather than speculating on why tragedy strikes, we should focus on ourselves and repent, embracing the opportunity to live more fully and love more deeply.
Here is the bulletin for the service to follow along with the words of texts, hymns, songs and prayers. You can join the service live at 10:25 am at this YouTube link; after the service ends it will be available to watch as a recording.
