April 20 - Easter Sunday - Please join us at 10:30 am on line or in person
He is risen! Please join us as we celebrate the risen Christ!
Happy Easter! We are thrilled that you are able to join us today!
Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole will lead us in worship. Hilda Sabadash will welcome us; Pam Fitch will provide the Land Acknowledgment. The reading will be from John 20:1-18 read by Brad Munro. The choir, led by Roland Graham, will sing the anthem: 'On the Third Day' from “At the Ninth Hour” by Allen Pote. Rev. Sue Toller will lead the Theme Conversation for Children and Adults.
We will also celebrate communion so if you are worshipping from home, please prepare a beverage of your choice and some bread or cracker so that you are included.
Here is the bulletin for the service to follow along with the words of texts, hymns, songs and prayers.
You can join the service live at 10:25 am at this YouTube link; after the service ends it will be available to watch as a recording.
We want to thank Wayne MacWhirter for his gift of the flowers in the Sanctuary; they are in honour of his parents.
Also of note: We wish Rev. Teresa well! She leaves on Sabbatical tomorrow and will return to the pulpit in early September. Rev. Dr. Steven Moore will join Rev. Sue Toller, May 17th through June 29th here at Glebe-St. James. Stay tuned for the schedule of summer services to follow.
