Join us for the Fourth Sunday of Advent, Dec. 18 2022
Celebrate the season with us in worship and song, in person or on-line

A very special warm welcome to those of you joining us here in person or via livestream this fourth Sunday of Advent, December 11th, 2022 at 10:30 am - and to those who are tuning in to the recorded services later in the week! If you'd like to read the sermon, prayers and even the children's story, the Service Bulletin is linked below. The words of the Cantata are also linked below.
Our service this week will be lead by our Minister the Rev. Teresa Burnett-Cole. James Caswell, our Minister of Music and the choir will lead us in music and song and a special Christmas Cantata "Journey to the Light".
Our service bulletin with hymns, texts and announcements is linked here.

You can watch the video of the service here on YouTube. *we have been having some issues with livestreaming to YouTube. If you had trouble getting on to the first link, please click again. The link address may have been updated* Please consider 'subscribing' to the GSJ YouTube channel and use the 'notification' (the 'bell' symbol on the GSJ YouTube channel) to be notified when we go live. If, for any reason, the webcast is interrupted you should still be able to connect by looking for the red 'live' thumb-nail image.
Zoom Coffee Hour:
As an experiment until the end of December, the popular weekly Zoom coffee hour will take place at 11:30 am right after the service, instead of 1:00 pm. The Zoom host will be at a computer in Fraser Hall at the in-person coffee time, and people who are there can stop by to say hello to the Zoomers. As a reminder, if you're joining us remotely, the link is Zoom coffee hour and should start right after the service livestream is completed - around 11:30 am.
Let us know how we are doing! If you have any ideas, comments or feedback about the online (or in person!) worship experience, please contact the worship committee at: [email protected].
