Join us in person or via our livestream as we continue to reflect on the story of Jesus in this 'post-Easter' period. Following closely on the heels of Pentecost, we now find ourselves at the celebration of the Trinity. We have just heard about Jesus, the son, ascending to heaven and then the Holy Spirit descend as a flame over the heads of his followers. This is the day in the church year when we ponder the mystery of the Triune God, how God is Three in One and One in Three. Hmmmm. The major point about the Trinity to lift up in this service is this: God is social, and so are we.
In this service, we will also welcome the Rev Dr Junior Smith who will lead the service while Rev. Dr. Teresa Burnett-Cole will deliver the message. Donna Fay Mailhot will read our scripture reading from Matthew 28:16-20. James Caswell, our Minister of Music will be away. The choir will be lead by a guest director to lead us in music and song.
If you'd like to read along the sermon texts, prayers, hymn lyrics and even the children's story, find the service bulletin linked here.
