A Conversation with Future Indigenous Leaders

What is a Pretendian? How do false claims to Indigenous identity promote racism?

Mackayla Taylor will talk about the results of her research into the impact on the Indigenous community and what we can do to support authentic Indigenous voices.

How does polluted water lead to youth suicide? Eli Dunlap will make the link based on their research into the experience of the Grassy Narrows First Nation.

Join us for a virtual conversation with these two young Indigenous scholars as they challenge us to act on their research findings.
