Join us for our livestreamed Children's service on December 6th, the second Sunday of Advent

December 6, 2020

The second Sunday of Advent focuses on Peace and will be led the our Minister of Christian Development and the children of Glebe St. James. This is also 'white gift' Sunday.

This week our service is brought to us by Christian Education and will feature an offering by the children and their “helpers.”

As with so many things during Covid-19, Christian Development is doing things differently than we ever have before and white gifts during the Children's Advent service is no exception!  This year we would like to join others at Glebe-St James asking you to contribute to Ottawa Innercity Ministries' Winter Survival Campaign by purchasing winter sleeping bags.  These bags cost more but they provide real relief when the homeless are facing extreme weather conditions.  If we all contribute a little, it adds up to a lot! See the announcement slides for the phone number to call.

Our minister of Christian Development, Stephanie Langill, will lead us in worship.
James Caswell, our minister of Music, and Julia, Jessica and David will lead us in music.
Stephanie Langill will have a children’s story.

Join in on the virtual offering plate for M&S, Outreach & GSJ operational needs

Though some members of the congregation will be attending GSJ in person, the livestream at the YouTube link below starts at around 10:15 am (announcements) for the 10:30am Sunday service. If the link does not work, then go directly to YouTube and view it from there or from our Facebook page. You will also be able to watch the service video at a later time at your convenience on YouTube.
